I worked for Al in the Portland Branch of Upjohn and was greatful for the leadership and opportunities he provided for me. He was Kind, Caring and had a wonderful sense of humor. I know it is hard to lose the ones we love, but Al will live in our hearts forever.

Al was a great guy. We were in the 8th Ward with him and he always had a smile and joke to tell you. We know he had a strong testimony and worked hard to make a difference in other people's lives. You should be proud of the life he lead. Our condolences go out to all of you.

What I am feeling right now is hard to put into words. So, suffice it to say, I will sorely miss my endless contacts with Al that has lasted for 55 years. He was my Mentor.

We love and miss you D.O. Thank-you for always making us laugh. You were a great father, father-in-law and granddad and we will always be grateful for your love and support. We are so glad for all the Sundays you came to dinner and for the times you came to stay. We will cherish those memories forever. Deborah, Scott and Thomas xxx
