I hope you and uncle Chad are sharing a laugh up there in heaven. I know I didn´t get to grow up and know you, but from the stories I have heard throughout my life you were amazing. Uncle Chad looked up to you, and would talk about you often. I know you met him at the gates of heaven with open arms. I miss you guys, and wish I had more time with the both of you. I love yall.

The last time I saw Bert was two weeks ago before his death, I did not hear about his death until the day of his funeral. The last time I saw him, we gave each other a hug. Everyone I have shared tears with thought highly of him. Kind heart, hard worker, loving person. I will miss him as a customer and a friend. Rest in Peace.

Bert was a true friend that sat next to me at work for 32 years. We shared the raising of our kids and always talked about gardening, fishing or deer hunting. Bert remained a good friend after I retired. He always called to check on me. He will be missed.

Bert,
You were a good friend and family man.
I remember you helping me with the twins and my son coaching Pee-wee baseball. It feels like it was just yesterday.
I know God was waiting for you with open arms.
