Al was a good guy. Very friendly. I went to Law School with him, and will never forget him. We studied together for the bar, four of us, and all passed it the first time around
Sincerely, Rodman Miller

Al and his deceased partner Warren Peterson and deceased Harry Rice from Lincoln High and I from Stadium High sold shoes at Leeds in Tacoma part time when we were in high school. Al and I pledged the same fraternity at Washington State University in 1945. Al and Warren were an ushers in Jan and my wedding in Tacoma on August 30,1949. Al was a good friend. I will miss him.

Although I had only known Albert for a short time it was clear that he was a wonderful man. Each time I visited he greeted me by name and with a smile. A gentle and loving man of the highest integrity -- what saddens me most is that I didn't have the opportunity to know him better. Though the time was short it was my privilege and honor to comfort him during a difficult time. My deepest sympathy to you Glenna and the family. Jim

There are not enough words and tears to express my sympathy for my "Uncle Al". He was the nicest, sweetest man. Our family has so many memories...boating, swimming, parties, lot's of love and of course, "THE CIGAR"! Wonderful memories!! We will never, ever forget Albert. We all loved him so very much. All our sympathy to Glenna, Gina, Chase, Skip and the rest of our family.

All our love,

Ron, Gianet & Katrina Fouts
