Dearest Nehme family,
The recollections I have of visiting the warm and welcoming Nehme kitchen in Scranton with my parents Jim and Adel and then later with Adel Jacob Sirgany, my mom, in late 1973 were wonderful indeed. The vegetable garden was full of everything needed for a taboli garden and the conversation about the war, high school and grammar school in Scranton in the 1920's was remarkable. I can only thank you now, over 40 years since my Dad's passing and nearly 15 years since my mom has moved on for the wonderful, loving hugs and delicious Italian/Lebanese food we shared. Love and hope to see you when I'm in Scranton this fall.
