ALBERT J., JR., D.D.S., on May 19, 2004, beloved husband of Bette (nee Davidson), loving father of Susan (Mark Nulty) Potts-Nulty, Albert J. "Skip" (Sharon), Christopher (Kristin) and Jonathan Potts, grandfather of Courtney, A.J., Erik, and Elizabeth. Dr. Potts had a family dental practice in Holmesburg for 43 years. Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial Sat. 10:30 A.M. at St. Dominic's R.C. Church Int. St. Dominic's Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 7 to 9 P.M. and Saturday 9 to 10 A.M. at LAMBIE FUNERAL HOME, 8000 Rowland Ave. (at Rhawn St.). In lieu of flowers memorials to Community Care of the NE, 8015 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19136 or Albert J. Potts Sr. Horticultural Scholarship Fund, at Lincoln H. S., Rowland and Ryan Aves., Phila., PA 19136 would be appreciated.

I moved in next door to the Potts family in 1999, after serving in the military. I could not have dreamed of better neighbors!! Dr. Potts was an around great guy. I wish I had known him longer. I truely miss seeing him on a daily basis, asking him for advice on about almost everything from landscaping my property to the fillings in my teeth..It was always a highlight in my day to speak with him..He will be truely missed.
Heaven just received one of the best!!!!

Since I was in 5th grade, my summers were spent in two places; 29 Julia Drive, Beach Haven West & N.1st Street in Surf City.
The Dr. Potts and his family are such a big part of my life and who I am as a person. Knowing Dr. Potts is a blessing I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I still recall stories like fishing in the fog with Dr. Potts and Susan; the Eat-a-thons, waiting for the flounder cheeks to be ready; finding a place at the dinner table for me when I would come over to get Chris when we would go out on LBI; watching the Phillies; looking towards the mouth of the lagoon, waiting for the Potts boat to come around the corner when we cooked crabs; the Labor Day fishing tournament and the softball games with Dr. Potts pitching...
Thank you, Dr. Potts, for many many memories...God bless you.
