Jean Marie McGraw

McGraw March 16, 2005 Jean Marie (Stack) McGraw, 81, of Herndon, VA, formerly of Mattydale, passed away Wednesday at her home. Born in Syracuse, Jean retired in 1991 from the circulation department of The Post-Standard where she worked for 25 years. She was a graduate of Central Tech High School and a member of St. Margaret's Church. Following the death of her husband Francis in 1992, Jean enjoyed beach vacations with her family, gardening, reading and wonderful times with her grandchildren. In her later years, despite her lengthy illness, she never lost her sense of humor. Surviving are her children, Michael F. McGraw (Noel) of Austin, TX, Nancy J. Snyder (Ken) of Albion, Mark E. McGraw (Kathie) of Liverpool, Shirley A. Maloney (Tom) of Oak Hill, VA; sister, Evelyn Casey of Fabius; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours 5 to 8 p.m. today (Friday) at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool.
