Albert Swanson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 1, 2025.
Mr. Albert Allen "Al" Swanson, 59, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Arizona due to sudden cardiac arrest.

Born on June 30, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan, Allen carried a deep and abiding love for his hometown throughout his life. Though he later relocated to Arizona, Detroit remained close to his heart-a place filled with memories and meaning that never faded with time or distance.

Allen was a complicated but deeply caring man. While not always outwardly expressive, those closest to him understood the quiet love he held for his family. He was a proud father to three children: Kyle Carrier, David Swanson, and the late Jillian Rose LaRowe. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy; Al has two grandsons, Dax Carrier and Jason Christopher.

Despite life's many challenges, Allen's bond with his children remained unshakable. His strength and resilience were defining traits-qualities that helped shape the lives of those around him. He will be remembered by his sons and grandsons, as well as by Gerald Swanson, Chris Swanson and many other family members and friends who knew and loved him.

In accordance with his final wishes, Allen's body was donated to science-a final act of giving that reflected his quiet generosity. He will be cremated, and his remains returned to Detroit-the city he always considered home.

Allen leaves behind a legacy of enduring love and quiet strength. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
