Earlier today

Great loss for all that had any connection with Ted. A true friend, mentor, professional juggernaut, educator , family head and a true Renaissance man. I wish Mary and the rest of the Twessme clan my deepest condolences ,I will remember the great times I have shared with him

Yesterday

Dear Mary & family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I feel your pain. Dr. Twesme was a very special person who made this world a better place.
My favorite story about him was when I was working at Dr. Pick's office I would call Dr. Twesme after surgery on one of our patients and I would ask him, Hey Dr. T. how did the denture go in after the extractions, he would always say, " Like socks on a rooster" and we would laugh so hard!!
I pray your sadness will turn into heartwarming memories of all the joy he brought to so many people.
May God Bless You All Always.
With Love & Warmest Regards,
Christine Bakazan

Dr. Twesme was a giant amongst men! His kindness and his humor made him very special to us. Ted´s skills in oral surgery benefited the many patients we treated with him over 3+ decades. We will miss sharing basketball commentary with him and his beautiful Mary in the tunnel after UNLV Games. They don´t come any finer. He will always have a place in our hearts!

My favorite Dr. Twesme memory was working with him on the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. What an education and entertainment Ted style. Such a special man. RIP

We share your sadness but also express great joy in having known Ted and Mary for over 50 years. We have such great memories of Ted and Mary as we began our careers and families at MCB 29 Palms, CA in 1973 and with our ongoing friendship over the years. God bless you, Ted, and save a place at the table for us. God´s peace be with Mary and the Twesme family.

Hard for me to say goodbye to such a great colleague... many fond memories with Ted and Mary at dental functions.
Ted and I had a very similar sense of humor which always kept us and those around laughing . While both serving on the ADA Council of annual sessions it was requested we not sit together because of the laughter we brought. So glad I got a chance to spend time with Ted and Mary this past October in Dallas for the ADEX annual meeting. I´m comforted knowing he is with our Lord...John R Williams DDS

Doc, thank you for the laughs, the advise, the great times, especially all the amazing memories, especially for your stirring the pot shenanigans . You've really left a mark in this world. There aren't many left in this world like you. Until later Papa Twez, until later.

I am struggling to find words for my feelings. Those who know me understand how big of a deal that is. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Ted. He was always the fun uncle. He was always so happy to have us stay at their home. I will miss the way he laughed, loved and lived. I think the biggest thing to remember and try to emulate from him however is his spirit of giving. He gave everything to all he knew and to all he did.

I hope we all can live up to that legacy.

Farewell Uncle Ted. There is always a bourbon for you at my house.
