Albert Teter Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 9, 2024.
Albert Lee Teter, 65, passed away suddenly on March 2, 2024 with his loving wife, Elaine Ruth (Greene) Teter, by his side. Albert was born March 13, 1958 in Elyria, Ohio to Kenneth Burl and Jeanette Mae Teter. He was raised in the pentecostal church and graduated from Elyria High School. Albert was a welder by trade, and worked for several manufacturers as both welder and assembler.

When Albert met his wife Elaine, the two became inseparable. Being true love birds, they wed on Valentine's Day 2013. Albert enjoyed the little things in life; playing board/card games, completing puzzles, being with family, playing with his baby Poochi, and simply relaxing alongside Elaine. He was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Albert is survived by his wife Elaine and their dear Poochi; brother Kenneth L. (Jackie) Teter; children Steven Teter, Rebecca (Cullen) Hanlon, and Joshua Teter; stepchildren Scott (Karen) Schindler, and Jennifer (Bobby Justice) Schindler; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at Apostle's Doctrine Church, 2400 N. Leavitt Rd., Lorain, Ohio, on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00am. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow.
