Albert Waller Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 7, 2000.
My son, Albert Marcus (Marc) Waller Sr., and his wife Charlotte, with their children, Marcus and Marci, went camping in Kentucky on Friday, June 16, 2000. They had with them their trail bikes that they ride in the woods. After having fun all day, and just before their time to take a shower, my grandson, Little Marcus II, wanted to ride around for a few more minutes with one of his friends. They rode into an area where other children were riding. Another child riding in the opposite direction came over a small hill and they ran into each other.

Little Marcus was knocked unconscious. He did not have any injury to his head, and none of his bones were broken. He didn’t even have any cuts or scrapes on his body.

There was a doctor close by that came to his aid, and a helicopter was flown in to take him to the hospital. Before they could get there, his little heart stopped beating, and there was nothing that anyone could do.

Little Marcus remains in our hearts and on our minds. Although we miss him more than words could ever say, we are grateful for the 6 years of laughter, love, and joy we shared with him.

Marcus’ final gift was for us to realize how truly important our friends and family truly are. Through him our family has become closer and we have drawn on the strength of our many friends that have called, visited, and expressed their condolences. We would like to thank everyone that has supported us in this time of need.
