We enjoyed our many trips to your parents' house to buy vegetables and especially their delicious peaches! Your dad and my husband always liked to kid each other as they visited. After they left Middle Ridge, when ever they were in town, they would pull up in our driveway to visit, as we also lived on Elyria Ave. Our deepest sympathies to you all.

Mrs. Eddy was an awesome, awesome lady that was a good wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. If every one lived their life like hers there would be no wars, no school shootings and no dysfunctional families. The world would not be full of hate. I loved talking to her when she would take her walks up Cleveland Avenue and anywhere else I was privileged to be in her company. The Jackson family goes way back in Amherst and were friends with the Powers family and the Miller family. I have heard nothing but wonderful things. I had the privilege of taking care of her sister Helen and got to know nieces and nephews that loved their aunt very much. Bennie Eddy was also a bright light in Amherst, he kept the city and township in check, and provided so many of us with his fruits and vegetables that were grown with love and care..the daughters of this family were the prettiest girls you ever could see and this beauty was just as pretty on the inside..I know Dianne is glad to have her mama....and the rest of the kids will miss her so much and I can feel your pain..It doesn't ever go away, but God helps us tolerate it..My prayers and love to all of you. Love Liz Miller Sz.

Carol, it is with a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to you and your family. I knew your Mother from the time I was a young girl and will always remember her as a kind and gentle spirit with a heart of gold. (so very much like you, Carol) God fitted your Mother for wings long ago and we know Heaven is all that much sweeter now.
She is reunited with your Father, sister, niece and other family and friends.... and free of pain. When I would visit her she always left me with a warm glow. Our conversations were always endearing and full of her humor. Her personality and smile always left me warm. Mrs. Eddy redefined the word "grace." My heart is breaking for you, Carol. You have endured so much pain in the recent years. May God's Love guide you through this very sad time, my sweet friend.
