Alease H. Ward, 82, Peachtree Road, died peacefully at home Monday, June 4, 2007. A visitation will be held today (Thursday, June 7) from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona and a service Friday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at the Living Waters Church, Nova Road, Daytona Beach. Mrs. Ward, a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, business woman, and homemaker lived life to its fullest and will be dearly missed. Alease had lived in Daytona Beach since 1953 and worked as a business manager for several local doctors over the past years. She was also a dedicated worker for her Lord and her church, Living Waters Church of Daytona Beach, and was an active member of Stonecrost Woman's Bible Study, along with the Daytona Beach Business and Professional Woman's Organization. Mrs. Ward is survived by her loving husband, the Rev. Herschel Ward; her two brothers, Norman Hawley, Fuquay Varina, N.C., and Bobby Hawley, Spring Hill, Fla.; one sister, Gaynelle Pope Cary, North Carolina; four daughters, Bonnie and Larry Otwell, Euless, Texas, Lisa and Lionel Smith, Hartselle, Ala., Mary and David Land, Citrus Springs, Fla., and Holly and Tim Graves, South Daytona. Alease is also survived by seven grandchildren, Bobby McCartney, Crystal Land, Jason Land, Bryan Land, Ashley Land, Adam Smith and Andrew Graves. The family requests that all donations be sent to Living Waters Church of Daytona Beach. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.

Holly,and All Family,
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you. Your Memories will get you thru. Alease was one of those rare people that made your day special when you saw her. She will now watch over and still guide you from a higher view, for she is with the Lord.
