CHAHOY ALESSIA MARIE
May 7, 2011 - March 10, 2012, Our Brave Little Soul, Alessia Marie, 10 months old, received her Angel wings as Jesus called her to heaven unexpectedly on March 10, 2012. Miraculous daughter of Deanna (Spaziani) Chahoy and Steve Chahoy and sister of Sid; granddaughter of Susan and Steve Chahoy, Sr. and Mark and Linda Spaziani. She was Grandpa Spaz's Little Gladiator; great-granddaughter of Leona Chahoy and Mary Chirico; niece to Katie Chahoy. Alessia had the most wonderful Godparents in Todd and Jennie Young as well as Jared and Ashlee Spaziani. She adored her Uncle Jared and his hat. Alessia was born on May 7, 2011 at West Penn Hospital. We cannot thank their staff enough, especially Aunt Susie (her primary nurse) and Gio Laneri (her favorite doctor). Alessia transferred to Children's hospital in July and made many new friends during her rollercoaster ride over the months that followed. Our NICU family will always hold a special place in our hearts, especially her Aunt Julie and Aunt Holly. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us over those long six months and for showing our daughter a love that was so strong and real. Our thanks also have to go out to the PICU staff for the care they provided our daughter the past two months. Although only here for a short time, Alessia touched so many lives. Lives of people she never even met. She was a miracle since the day she was born. She was an unbelievably strong little girl. A true fighter. Our Brave Little Soul. There was such a sparkle in her eye that would light up a room. And a temper that would clear one! Not a day will go by that we won't miss you, think of you, love you and wait for the day we will be reunited with you again. Our hearts ache. She has changed our lives forever. We are better people because of her. Alessia, sweet angel, your mommy and daddy have always been there for you and will continue to be there. You are our whole world. We know we will see you again. Until then, go play with Owyn. Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND SERVICES, INC., CENTER TWP., 3475 Brodhead Rd., Monaca, PA 15061. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Monaca, PA.
