No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Aletha was a great humanitarian, I remember when I was just a high school drop out and she helped me get my diploma and hired me to work in the office at the age of 18. She had a way about her that when you talked to her all your problems were put into perspective and your joys were that much more joyful. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. It gives me great comfort knowing that she will be up there looking out for all of us and that she will be once again reunited with her beloved Jerry. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

We will all miss Aletha's smiles and long chats at St. Ann's. I don't think Kate or I will ever look at a tabloid or bag of cheese popcorn without thinking of her. It was truly a blessing to have known her.

We remember your mother at many family gatherings. She always had a great sense of humor. You have our deepest sympathy and our prayers.
