Almost 2 years have passed since his tragic passing and Officer DeMonte´s. Thoughts and prayers go out to their families. Rest in Peace

I never got to know him but I watched the funeral with my brother 2 days after his and dustins passing

An angel on earth with a bright radiant smile is now an angel in heaven...May God's blessings always be upon you and your family...

Almost a year has passed, but you and your family are always in our thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know either one of these two officers but I am still heart-broken over the evil senselessness of it all. To be sure, they are both in Heaven now and there they will remain for all of eternity. May they both Rest In Peace.

I remember so well the spirit and infectious smile of Alex as a middle schooler. I was his guidance counselor. Even then, he knew he wanted to be a police officer. I am honored to have been a small part of Alex's life back then and proud of the man he grew to become. My heart goes out to the family, friends, teachers, police officers and community members whose lives were touched by his passion over the years. May you be healed by the many tributes that celebrate his life.

Officer Alex Hamzy was a friendly and kind person. I met him when he was a kid when his family owned the crystal diner he was the most kind person and would always try to make you smile I saw him grow Into a strong and amazing adult.He was one of a kind.No one will ever be able to replace him but I am happy I was able to know . As a officer he always went above and beyond to make everyone he talked to feel comfortable as well as safe. In the community of Bristol Connecticut we will definitely miss his presence but we will always remember him as a hero May he Rest In Peace
