I am praying for my friend Nicole and her family during this time of mourning. I know from conversations with my friend, I can say he was a strong man. He was provider and protector to his wife and children. He encouraged his family. I think I have learned from him family is everything. He loved his family in actions and words. May loving memories give strength in the days to come. Mourn at your own speed! Terri Sullivan

I have so many memories of Al, I can´t remember the first one. One of my favorite ones is of him and Glenn both on their riding lawnmowers flying around our yard when Rod was away for two weeks. At the time he had just started a job in Lebanon and I was home with 3 little boys. Our yard looked like a field and our lawnmower was broke. The two of them got on their mowers and flattened it out in about 10 minutes. Because that is what neighbors do. Our neighborhood was special, we were family. So many backyard fires and New Years Eves together. Our kids will never forget their childhood. It was neighbors like Julie and Al that gave us all those memories, we miss you, Al
