Alexander (Alex) Riell Obituary
He is survived by his remaining children: Alexander Riell III (wife Jennifer, children Ysabella and Colin), Matthew Riell (wife Amy), Alicia Riell Gilbert (husband Derek, step-children Erin and Shaun), and Mark Riell (wife Wendy, step-daughter, Alyssa).
His is also survived by his second wife of 17 years: Sylvia Kawas Riell, and her sons Eddie Kawas Jr. (wife Marisa, children Alyssa and Eddie), and Lee Kawas.
He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Sophie.
He served briefly in the Air Force and spent many years as a computer engineer in various industries, mostly aero-space. He had a passion for history, music, religion, politics, the military and weapons (not in that order). He was intelligent, well-read and enjoyed debating almost any subject. He played the piano, clarinet, saxophone and guitar.
He lived an adventure filled life, traveling and living around the world with his family and will be missed.
