Alexander Campos

Alexander C. Yancy Campos, age 27, of Saugatuck, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Alex loved to read and could spend hours wandering through a bookstore. He loved pets and animals very much and would often spend time caring for them. Beyond all, Alex was a selfless older brother, son, and grandchild. His family and friends will miss him terribly. Alex is survived by his mother, Lesa Yancy Campos of Saugatuck; father, David Campos of Tavares, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Riane Campos; sister, Natalie Campos; brothers: Dan Campos and Mike Campos; grandparents, Rex and Joyce Yancy of Holland, Fred Campos of Miami, Florida; great-grandmother, Veva Parish of Decatur. Alex was missed dearly by family dog Samson, who always ran beneath Alex's desk during the fiercest of storms and slept beside him on the hardest of days. Samson passed away shortly after on Friday, August 6, 2021. Alex was preceded in death by his brother Christian Campos in 2017. There will be a private visitation for family from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. Burial will take place in East Saugatuck Cemetery.
