Alexander Marion Clemons, 66, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation is 1 pm today, January 29, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bob Buckner will officiate the Service. Pallbearers are Gene McMillan, Lee McMillan, David McMillan, Dan McGraw, Garrett Reese and Doug Irving. Honorary pallbearers are Allan McMillan, Raymond Smith, Bobby Junkin and William Clark.

Mr. Clemons was a native of Cleveland, MS. He was a former resident of Picayune, MS. where he was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He moved to Brandon, MS in 2004 and became the primary care giver for his late wife, Ella Loriece Clemons. He worked for Lewis Grocery, now Super Value Grocery for over 40 years.

Survivors include his daughter, Wendy Clemons of Puckett, MS; three sons, Marion Clemons, Jr. of Branson, MO, Terry Clemons of Sadaila, MO and Jerry Clemons & wife, Barbara of Sadaila, MO; and seven grandchildren, Cassie, C.J., Chelsea, Tania, Andres, Elena, and Ileana Clemons.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS.
