I'm still stunned at the loss of Alex. My sincere sympathies to all of us who share the Ehrlinger extended family. Although I didn't know Alex well, you always spoke of his wonderful sense of humor that animated every family gathering. Clearly a vast number of people who knew quite Alex well loved and appreciated him deeply. All the happy memories are his legacy to you.

A few memories: Had a great time when Alex was The Professor in a group Gilligan's Island Halloween costume. My husband was his wing man that night and at more parties than I know about, I'm sure. He didn't complain about the vegan birthday dinner I made him, even though it was bad. He was always the first person we'd want at any gathering. Good bye, Alex. We'll think of you and your family often with big love.

My heartfelt and deepest sympathies to the entire Falk family, especially to Susan during this terribly sad time.
Our Lake Harriet and Southwest communities brought us together so many years ago. Names, faces and voices never fade away - I can still hear Alex's clearly.

I had the privilege of working with Alex for 2 years. In that time, I enjoyed his mordant sense of humour, appreciated his sensitivity to ethics and doing the right thing which was both charming and engaging, and was honoured to read his screenplay in progress. I am deeply saddened by your loss.

Dear family,
Alex was one of the few people who could always make me laugh, but he was also a stand-up guy who I could always count on. My wife and I trusted him with our vows and my ring to her at our wedding, and we never doubted that they were in good hands.
His passing is devastating for both of us, but we're truly better people for having known him. He won't be forgotten.
