I knew Al from 2003-06 while I was a Potsdam Firefighter and a student at Clarkson. Whenever I bumped into him, whether at a meeting or on a call, he always asked how I was doing and how everything was going. He genuinely cared about those around him, and about his community. He will be missed by many.

To the Grant Family: It has been a long time since I have seen the family. As I read about your loss today I became extremely surprised and deeply saddened. Mr. Grant was a good person whom I got to know through Aimee and Kevin. I am so sorry to have read about your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the Grant family.
