Pat and Alex, my heart goes out to you upon hearing this sad news. My prayer is that Alex is at peace and that you, in time, will also find peace. Harvey and I lost our Amie at six weeks old and it was the hardest loss of my life. I know your loss is different, so many more years and memories. But the common denominator is the same. They are not supposed to go before us. You have my thoughts, my prayers and my ears if you need to talk.
Much love. Faye

Alex and I worked together on a variety of projects at work. Although Alex was much younger than I, we enjoyed a relationship typical of peers. He was very sharp and intuitive. His ability to see through a process to understand the end-product was uncanny. He had a great sense of humor, and we enjoyed many stories, anecdotes, etc. It was great to work with him because we both had similar vision and outlooks. Alex leaves behind a most wonderful wife: Linda. They loved each other so much. You could always see that. Ours was a friendship that survived many life changes, career changes, physical separation. Whenever we got together, we quickly picked up where we left off. I will always keep him in my thoughts and cherish those times we worked together. I really loved that guy.

I truly enjoyed the privilege of working with Alex, from being trained by him in GC/MS to completing R&D projects at Drugscan. My heart goes out to Linda and his family for the loss of a thoughtful, adventurous and determined person. I loved hearing his stories about Frisbee golf and will miss his friendship very much.
