He was the husband of Catherine T. "Kay" (Bujnowski) Morison, who died in October of 2005, and to whom he was married for 27 years.
He was born in Stow, Mass., March 12, 1918, son of the late Alexander and Lily (Clayton) Morison.
Mr. Morison served in the Army during World War II, stationed in Iran, where he helped operate and maintain the railroad from the Persian Gulf to Russia.
Before retiring, Mr. Morison worked for 33 years at General Motors in Framingham, Mass.
Since retiring, he and his wife, Kay, spent their summers in Orrington, and winters in Sebastian, Fla. They then moved to Boyd Place in Bangor. They were members of St. John Catholic Church. He and his wife loved playing cards with their friends
He was a life member of VFW Post 10210, of Sebastian, Fla
He was a wonderful story-teller, and always told them from the lighter side. He was the perfect example of a "Good Man," according to family members.
He is survived by a special niece, Mary Beth Zahidi, residing in Nevada; a sister, Eleanor Laffin, residing in New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.
He will also be remembered fondly by his many friends at Boyd Place; and the cribbage players at the Hammond Street Senior Center; and his special friends, Bette Brehm and Bob Carlson.
He was also predeceased by two sisters and a brother.
