Alexander Pelzer

PELZER, Alexander Hubert August 13, 1922 - September 10, 2010 The Finest man we ever knew, the man we thought would never die has gone to rest in Heaven. Days turned into years and he was always there, always close by our sides. Dad enjoyed gardening, watching Formula 1 and tinkering, but he loved it best at home where family and friends would always gather. Dad was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. For his work with the Dutch underground and regular forces in WWII he was awarded the Dutch Mobilisation War Cross in 2008. Dad we are going to miss your blue eyes very dearly; as the Patriarch of our family no one will be able to fill your shoes or enormous heart. Rest well with Mom and William, tot ziens Grampa. Predeceased by his wife Irmgard and son William, survived by daughters Helena (Leon), Margo, Mickey (Dale) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
