As this season of grief and adjustment continue, we hold you all close at heart. We are deeply saddened in the passing of both of your parents, parents-in-law, and grandparents so close together. Words are so inadequate to express our longing for the comforting of God's Presence to embrace you and hold you all securely close. You are a beautiful family of great honour to your parents, Reg.

To Alex's family,

Alex was my graduate advisor when I did a master's degree at the U of C. He was a wonderful teacher and mentor and I was very, very fond of him. That year spent on campus popping in and out of his office to share ideas, teaching stories and good fun was and remains a real highlight for me. I have so often remembered his great sense of humor and his humanity.

I was so saddened to hear of your Mother's death just a few weeks ago and terribly shocked and sorry to hear of Alex's death on our return home from a camping trip.

My sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of both your parents.
