Our family has so many great memories shared with Ron and Laura and their children. Many know Ron as great entertainer and friend, or as family man and terrific husband and father. Fewer knew Ron as excellent neighbor as well. We were lucky to know Ron as all of these for many years while living across the street. Upon moving in, Ron, like a town mayor, introduced us to everyone and helped guarantee our comfortable transition. Then he and Laura and their kids became part of our daily lives and best of friends. Having trained for and completed a half-marathon with Ron, it's very difficult to accept that a guy so strong and determined could be vulnerable. But maybe that was always the gift of Ron. That he was like all of us and could relate to each one of us. God bless Ron, his lovely wife Laura, Alex, Gavin, Brooke and their families!

Thank you Ron for touching my life in a very happy way. I would come see Funzaluv ay DaVinci's and Molly's in Phoenixville. Always a night to dance, smile, laugh, and forget my problems. Ron played Come on Eileen every time he saw me. Made me and everyone feel special. The last time I saw him was at DaVinci's. The place was so packed I couldn't even get up to dance. Ron messaged me through Facebook the next day saying he didn't even know I was there until he saw the pictures. That is how loved this man was. He care about each and every one of us. I will miss him dearly. He was a very special man.

I first came to know Chuck as my son's, Craig, good friend in high school, so I knew who Ronnie was when I first met him on the sidelines at Wissy football. I was on the sidelines for 10 years taking photos of the players for Coach Herb. As a player, I saw Ronnie's wild-eyed intensity reserved for those in contact sports. That was the first Ronnie I knew then.
After high school, Ronnie Roo, my son, Keith, and some others had a place in Ocean City for the summer. That is when Keith said he could drive Ronnie Roo crazy just by saying, "You're gonna wear that shirt with THOSE pants?" That was when I learned a funny side of Ronnie Roo.
More than 20 years pass and I run across Ron on FB and learn that FunZaLuv played down the shore occasionally, so I thought I would catch a gig and touch base with my sons' friend. The show was fun, but what kept me coming back to his gigs was the way he made Judie and myself, "Sweet Lou," feel so special. I saw that he did that with EVERYONE! Ron was a special person with a unique talent for making people feel they were important to him. That was the Ron I have known the last 2 years.
The massive turnout was astonishing - but it was not surprising. From one hugger to another, I love and miss you, Ron!

Ron, I didn't know you personally but my friends and I saw you Chris perform a few times and you guys had so much fun and made a lot of people happy. You are going to be miss greatly by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. God Speed Friend...

It seems like yesterday I was on Pierce St. waiting for Ron to come over to play with Mike and I. I can still see him with his bright smile riding his bike up the alley, usually in shorts and no shirt and bare feet. Then we would all spend hours swimming in Mike's pool. I am so sorry I never made it to see you play. Lessened learned with making time to see old friends instead of letting schedules get in the way. It's hard to believe a guy with so much life in him isn't here anymore. Ron was truly special. In high school, he was everybody's friend and that never changed. When I would see him playing in his bands, he always greeted me with that big bear hug and a huge smile--he made everyone feel like they were his best friend. I met Ron when I met great times enjoying the music that put so many smiles on so many people. As a fellow musician by way of passion and formal study during my childhood, I would perform with Ron and Christian on occasion.

For any one reading this who didn't know Ron and Christian as a performing musical duo known as Funzaluv... happiness and fun were both understatements when it came to their shows.

I can truly say that I am a better person as a result of every opportunity I had to be in the presence of Ron (and Christian).
