J.B. Freeney Obituary
Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery under direction of Jenkins-Garmon Funeral Home, Henderson.
Mr. Freeney died Oct. 14, 2007, in a Longview hospital.
He was born Sept. 13, 1953, in Rusk County to C.B. and Marie Ann Cooper Freeney. He attended Rusk County public schools, served in the Armed Forces, and worked for DANA Corp. in Longview. He was a longtime member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Faye Freeney, Augusta, Ga.; daughters, Barbara Freeney, Kansas City, Kan., and Tonjala Freeney, Augusta, Ga.; mother, Marie Freeney, Henderson; brother, John Freeney, Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Martha Nichols and Voicie Bell, both of Henderson; one granddaughter; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. and family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
