Alexandra Evans Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 4, 2018.
Alexandra was born on September 9, 1996 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Randall S. Evans and Michelle Patterson. This beautiful girl spent her early years growing up in West Chester, PA before moving to Wellington, Florida and finally to Franklin,TN where she attended Franklin High School. She attended Belmont and was pursuing her degree in Nursing. Lexi loved to travel, read, volunteer, and was fortunate to have traveled all over Europe . Lexi's smile would always light up any room and her natural beauty was just breath taking. Lexi's sense of humor, infectious and contagious laugh was felt by all that knew her. Some of her happiest moments were spent at the beach with her best friend, her Mom. Lexi also loved spending time with her Daddy B. Lexi and Brett shared the same sense of humor, the love of Criminal Justice , hiking and spending time together just laughing. The relationship Lexi and her Mom, Michelle, had was one that other parents might covet as it was true to its core, with complete openness, authenticity, and most importantly unequivocal love. Lexi and her mother truly shared one soul. Lexi's brother Jacob (sis) was and is her forever 'partner in crime'. Lexi and Jake were the best of friends. Lexi and Jake lost their father (Randy) only four years ago, the tragedy drew them even closer, making their bond forever unbreakable. Lexi will be welcomed with loving arms by her father Randy, Great-grandmother Barbara Jeanne McMaster (Mee-Ma), her Grandmother and Grandfather, Helen and Egnute Evans, Grandmother and Grandfather Carol and Laurie Patterson and Uncle Jimmy Evans. Lexi will be missed by her Mother, Michelle, Brother, Jacob, Step-Dad Brett, Sisters Ashli , Brittaney (Chris) and Nicole. Grandmother Connie May, (Allen) Great-Grandfather Robert M. McMaster, Aunt Tammy , Uncle Billy, Aunt Jess, Uncle Michael, Aunt Saewod, Uncle Robby and Uncle Gary. Cousins Brian, Ben, Zak, Zoe, Michael, and Evan , her very loving and large Patterson family and her favorite Dog Clover Belle. Lexi will be missed by many friends that she has loved laughed, and touched in a positive way throughout her beautiful life. We hope that Lexi's legacy will provide love, strength and comfort in all times. An Angel came and took you by the hand, and said, "Your place was ready in Heaven far above..." You had to leave behind all those you dearly loved. You had so much to live for, you had so much to do, it still seems impossible that God was taking you. Although your life on Earth has passed- in Heaven it starts anew. You will live for all eternity just as God has promised you. You- sweet dear Lexi have walked through heavens gates, but we are never far apart, for every time I think of you, you are right there, forever deep within our hearts.

Someone anonymously paid for my family's meal at a Cracker Barrel in Bloomsburg, PA today. The waitress gave us the card that I am assuming Lexi's family started. I have no idea how many random acts of kindness have been completed in her honor, but I'm going to say it is countless! We tipped our waitress good to pay it forward, but I can't wait to pay for someone's groceries or meal and pay it forward again with this card included. What a great legacy.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to your family at this time. Lexi and her brother Jacob were an absolute pleasure to work with and be around at GMS. I cannot express my shock and sadness. Like so many others here, I feel so fortunate for the brief time I knew her. May the memories of her beautiful soul during her all too brief time here on Earth provide comfort for all of you in this tragic time.

I want to express my pure sense of true sorrow... Lexi was one that was in and out quickly in my class... but she reconnected with me through email ... and I felt her strength and her pureness...I am so grateful to have known her spirit for this short time ... yet, I sense her spirit still.. Good bless your family and I am forever holding loving space for each and all of you.

When Lexi was my neighbor, I was her babysitter. I didn't know her as the woman she grew into, but as the girl who loved tumbling in the hallway, playing games, and smiling. I'm not surprised she became a traveling cheerleader, she was great at spreading joy. I know her spirit is finding new paths to travel and share her light with the universe. My families love and blessings go to her spirit, and all those she left behind. My deepest condolences for Michelle. No mother should have to bury their child.
