It is with great sadness that I write this entry. I knew Alexis recently as we both attended a cancer clinic together and we became friends. Although the friendship was a brief one, it left a lasting impact. She was an amazing, vibrant, tenacious, beautiful and life-loving woman. My most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to Sam, Ransom, her parents, and friends and family. She has touched the lives of so many and will continue to do so from afar. The world was definitely a better place with Alexis in it. Love always, Sabrina xoxo

My heartfelt condolences to Alexis's family and friends. Alexis was my teacher at Randolph and I will never forget all she taught me. She has always held a special place in my heart for truly believing in my talent and taking a chance on me, it is something I never truly got to thank her for. My heart is with you during this extremely difficult time.

I'm still can't believe you're gone. I know we lost touch over the years, but I always felt we would reconnect at some point, and I hate myself for not seeking you out sooner. You were my mentor, teacher, support and friend. You changed my life and I know I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for your guidance and unwavering support. I'm gutted that I couldn't attend your memorial today but please know I will never forget you and am holding firmly onto my spark that you helped me to find. Thank you for everything lovely Alexis! You truly were one in a million.

This is so very sad. Alexis accomplished so much it seems to be such a tragedy that she wouldn't be around to do more good work. Please accept my condolences and know that even though I didn't know her very well, she had a significant impact on me.

She was only in my life for a brief time but as my teacher I quickly saw her beauty, confidence, groundedness, intelligence, passion and talent. It was easy to respect and admire her. I will never forget her honesty and ability to see straight into your soul. She saw me for the person I really am...that's a rare gift.

Alexis was such a smart, honest, tell-it-like-it-is, mischievous, gorgeous, hilarious and beautiful person. She had such a fabulous laugh, and her smile would light up the room. She will be missed more than words can possibly express.

I knew you only in our youth but over the years still heard about you and your accomplishments through mutual friends. I was so sorry to hear how sick you had become... an incredibly unfair ending to a young and flourishing life. My condolences to all who knew and loved you.
