Dr.Shelokov was my mentor and advisor while I was a medical student at UT Medical School at San Antonio. He was always kind and interested in my progress. His door was always open. He and his wife had a new home build on the top of a small hill south of the medical school. They had a large get-to-gather that I still remember. He was a dedicated physician and medical scientist. As you remember your beloved one, may our Father the God of peace give you comfort and peace in May God be your strength in this time of sorrow Matthew 5:4 "Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted."

Dr. Alexis Shelokov was my honorary uncle and my father's roommate at Stanford University in the 1940's. "Uncle" Alexis was always a wonderful man to speak with and to spend time with and I will always remember our last meeting several years before his death.
Uncle Alexis not only was a brilliant physician and bacteriologist but was a very colorful character whose family had a part in Imperial Russian history. As was told to me by Alexis, his father was instrumental in helping the jurist Judge Skokolov escape Russia with his report on the massacre of the Imperial family to France where it was published.
I am very sadden to read of his death and I hope this nephew and nieces will always remember him fondly.
In peace may he rest.
