Alfred “Pa” “Al” Jenkins entered into eternal on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the age of 76. He was a native of Plaquemine, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Alfred was a retired truck driver for BAH Express Transportation for over 20 years. Beloved husband of 55 years to Annette Smith-Jenkins. Loving father of Joycelyn (Bryan, Sr.) Singleton of GA, Joy (Gary) Gentry of TX, Wendlyn (Kevin) Turner of TX, Wandlyn Jenkins, Jan Jenkins, and Jana (Bencent, Sr) Morton of GA, and bonus son Ryan Brewer. Grandfather of the late Alinsha Jenkins. Beloved son of the late Edward Jenkins, Sr., and Emily Wright-Jenkins. Brother of Horace (Kathy), Curtis (Angela), and the late Edward Jenkins, Jr., and Florida Jenkins-Scott. Godfather of Cynthia Helm, Ira Cooper, and Trey Walker. Alfred is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
