Alfred Levac

LEVAC, Alfred Joseph 1925 - 2009 Passed away peacefully in the ICU of the Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus) on July 14th, 2009, at the age of 83. He was born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario and is pre-deceased by his wife (Therese Levac-Branconnier), his parents, George Levac and Rose McMurray, as well as eight brothers, Alpha, George, Albert, Paul, Aldege, Dollard, Joseph and Clement and five sisters, Lorenza, Albanie, Therese, Leona and Juliette. He is survived by his four children, Gaston, Jean, Jeanne and George, two brothers, Conrad (Sudbury) and Arthur (Brantford) and one sister, Annette (Ottawa). He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be held for Alfred and his wife Therese on September 12th, at the Sacred Heart Church in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. The immediate family acknowledges and thanks all the staff at the Champlain Nursing Home (a special thank you to Liette and Denis) who took very good care of our father. The family also wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital for the outstanding care provided to Alfred during his short stay in the Unit.
