I teach at Canton High School, and Al was the first administrator I had. He made me feel welcome and was incredibly supportive. I considered him a mentor and a role model and am so grateful to have known him.

To Joan and family,
I sat next to Al in high school and we were friends. He was a unique person even then, smart, able and memorably likeable. Very sorry for your loss. He will be missed and remembered. Howard Orenstein, San Diego.

Brad, Craig, and the Norgren Family,
I want to express my deepest condolences on the loss of your father. "Mr. Norgren" was one of my favorite teachers in high school. He made physics fun and easy to understand.
Craig, and Brad, you may not remember us, but my twin and I took skiing lesson with you at Blue Hills our senior year in high school. You guys were much younger, but we remember having so much fun with you. Please accept our prayers for your family.
Fondly,
Mary and Susan McManus

Al Nordgren married my cousin Joan. To quote my mother many years ago when I was very young," I hope you grow up and become the kind of man Al Nordgren is". Is there a testimony any greater that a mother can provide to her son.. Thank you Al for being the kind of man very few of us ever achieve.
