Alfred Joseph Salles Jr.

AJ passed into his eternal reward on Saturday, November 26th. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years June Rose Bringold, his children, Susan Klein (Paul, Sr.), Annette Clark (Don), Stephen (Susie), Michael (Patsy) and David. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, their spouses and 3 great-grandchildren, and his brother Gerard (Lynn) and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Joseph Salles, Sr. and Lucille Marie Estopinal. A New Orleans native, A. J. attended Holy Cross High School & Tulane University following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps during the Korean War. During his retirement he began reading the Bible & discovered perfect peace in the love of Christ. For over 20 years & until recently, he taught a bible study with his favorite verse being John 3:16. He will be greatly missed by his all his family, his church, and especially his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at Mandeville Bible Church of which he was a member. The church is located at 217 Carroll Street, Mandeville, LA. The service will be at 10am with a repass to follow in the church hall.
