HERNANDEZ, Alfredo

75, born January 30, 1941 passed away surrounded by his loving family December 13, 2016, in Tampa. Alfredo is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen Kempton Hernandez; daughters, Cristina (Gerald) Roberts, Mercedes (John) Sawn, and Valarie (Jason) Coats; sons, Corey (Danielle) Hernandez and Arturo Hernandez; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother, Dora Garcia; and two brothers. Alfredo was born in Cuba and immigrated to the USA in 1959. He served our country in the Army in the 1960's. He was the owner/operator of Herco Automotive Service and Towing in Tampa. After closing down Herco he worked for Tampa Yacht and Country Club. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 27 at 10:30 am with a memorial service at 11:30 am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell with full military honors at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Loving remembrances may be expressed at:
