To the Family: Our deepest condolences. Alfredo was an icon in Ottawa South (Conroy Mall) for many years. We all enjoyed having our hair cut in his salon. He was the first barber to cut our son Tim`s hair in 1991. Conversations flowed, and laughter was always abundant. He will be missed.

I was saddened to hear of Alfredo's passing. He was a true gentleman with a zest for life. I have many fond memories of hair cuts over the years that would always end up with the two of us laughing. Rest in peace Picaro - you'll definitely be missed.

I still remember him sitting just inside the hair salon, always with a smile and a hello. I know he will be greatly missed not by the family but by his many friends he has met over the years. To the Porco family I had the honour of knowing Alfredo for over thirty years. Alfredo had a distinct lively sense of humour coupled with a genuine concern for all his friends and family.
