Alfredo Telles

Alfredo "Freddy" Telles, age 79, lifelong resident of Las Cruces passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 20, 1938 to Juan Ramon and Josephina Grajeda Telles. "Freddy", as he was fondly known to family and friends, served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Mr. Telles retired from El Paso Electric Company as an account collector, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his loving wife, Antonia Pena Telles of the family home; a son, Helaman Telles; two daughters, Veronika Yolanda Molina and Sonya J. Triste all of Las Cruces; two brothers, Gilbert Telles (Luz Elena) of San Diego, CA and Mike Telles (Elizabeth) of Las Cruces; four sisters, Alicia Lucero (Frank) and Maria Elena Schuyler all also of Las Cruces, Connie Telles of San Antonio, TX and Dolores Telles Lindbeck of Colorado Springs, CO. Other survivors include nine grandchildren, Jeannette, Krystal, Luis and Erik Molina, Ivan, Julyssa and Steven Triste, Alicia and Xena Telles, four great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Telles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymundo and Hector Telles.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2915 E. Idaho where the Funeral Service is scheduled at 10 AM with Bishop Mariano Acosta officiating. Concluding Service and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue where he will be laid to rest in the family plot. Military Honors will be accorded by the Holloman Air Force Base Talons Honor Guard and the Marine Corps League - El Perro Diablo Detachment.
Serving as casket bearers will be Helaman Telles, Erik Molina, Ivan and Steven Triste and Alicia Telles.
