Alice Barker

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, David. She was a grand lady!

I had the very great pleasure of getting to know Alice over a 2 1/2 wk. period while we were both recovering in a rehab facility. We ate all our meals together and I met 5 of her 7 children (all of whom she was extremely proud of). She was clearly so loved and well cared for, including the techs at the rehab facility, who adored her. Knowing I would see her each day was such a pleasure. We were graced by her presence here among us.

Thinking of all of you at this difficult time. Your mom was a great lady. I have many fond memories of time spent at the Barker home and the cottage.

We will be thinking of you and your families as you mourn the loss of this wonderful, exuberant lady who always had zest for life.

We are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a wonderful lady who I enjoyed talking with during our get-togethers. She will be sadly missed by all.

To Sheila and all the family, my deepest sympathies in the loss of "ma". She was a great person and I have a lot of fond memories of her from our growing up years. She is now your guardian angel.
