My heart is saddened today for hearing of this loss so late. Ms. Alice touched my heart with her personal friendship and love. She taught me the value of what life truly entails. We shared in laughter with Ms. Margaret and common interests including The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie. She became the "adopted" mom that I didn't have. I regret letting certain circumstances prevent me from seeing her and not being there for her in her final days as I should have. There is nothing on this earth that can compare to the love I had for her. Her memories will forever be in my mind daily and I know she is the angel that guards me now. I will miss you, but I will not forget you Ms. Alice. One day, I will get the chance to see you again.
