Dear Diane and Lynn,
You don't know me because I've been away from Bristol for many years but your mother was my first best friend. Your grandmother took us to the movies on Saturdays when we were in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades (with her dog - I think her name was Gypsy), and then back to her house to play with her wonderful train set. We were in Scouts together where we shared many fun trips camping, etc. I'm very sad to hear of her death and hope that God will bless and keep you, and give you His peace. I loved her very much and will always think of her as a pretty, little Pixie with a long, blonde ponytail.
Love Always, Janice Burnette Lunceford

Dear Diane and Lynn, I have many fun
memories of my high school days with your Mom. Beach trips with the scouts were great memories. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Diane and Lynn,
Although many years have passed, I still have so many wonderful memories of the time your mom and I spent together. Every Friday we would take "our girls" to the train station for pizza. We had so much fun throwing the peanut shells in the floor and talking about so many things... just laughing and enjoying our girls and our lives. During those days I felt that you two were "my kids" too and your mom was the sister I never had.
My prayers are that you will find comfort in the wonderful memories that you shared with her.... like raising those rabbits....raising baby birds... Tosha.....(she taught me how to make shepards pie..). we even canned green beans....are giving me comfort for the loss of a friend. May your memories help you to celebrate the wonderful time you spent with her and stengthen you for the days ahead.
Love,
Judy Bruce
