Alice P. Dudley

I still think of Alice and the stories she would share when I would ask about her work and travel that Shoghi Effendi, the Guardian of the Bahai Faith had suggested. She lived in a simple, practical manner and was well informed throughout her many travels.

I learned so much about giving and living from Alice when she lived in Omaha, NE where I became a Baha'i. She was an inspiration to our new family that now lives and gives a life of service too.

Dear Alice, I have certainly enjoyed our visits (and dinners at the Indian Casino). You have been an inspiration to me and all who have met you. May you enjoy your well earned rest. I am so proud to be your cousin. Much love, Nadya

Since I met Alice we kept in touch by writing Christmas cards. She sent me several inspiring and comforting words, which I save as a fine memory. Thank you Alice. I am sure you are in your beautiful garden now!

Grandmother,thankyou so much for teaching me so much, loving me so much and never giving up on me. Because of you I have been able to pull it together and have a life. I am so proud to be you grandson.We will see each other again and rejoice. I love you, Eric.
