Alice EVANSON Obituary
It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear "Mom", "Grandma" "Nana", Alice Auldine Evanson (nee Anderson) on Thursday, December 4, 2014. She died peacefully in her home at the age of 92 years. Alice was born on August 29, 1922 to parents Emil and Elvira Anderson and was raised on the family farm near Calmar. She married Clare Dennis Evanson on July 14, 1943 and was predeceased by her loving husband on March 11, 2006. She was predeceased by her sister Iona and her brother Donnie and is survived by her brother Ken.
She is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law Darlene and Gary Bailey, Elaine and Archie Roberts, and Denise and Don Murphy; ten grandchildren Chris (Tanya), Heather (Kent) , Kevin (Trish), Lesley (Matthew), Jennifer (Steve), Kyle, David (Megan), Brian, Troy, Alana and four great- grandchildren Lauren, Jack, Kate and Sam.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock Funeral Home at 9810 – 34 Avenue N.W. Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

My deepest sympathy on your loss. Alice was one of my favorite teachers. I recently met her at Walmart , introduced myself and we had a great chat about our teaching careers and how they differed. We both decided that we loved our careers but also loved retirement! She was a special lady!
