I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I would like to express my heart felt condolences to you and your family. Your Mom was my grade 2 teacher and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that she was one of the most influential people in my life. Without your Mom's guidance and caring for my well being I don't believe I would be where I am today. I also remember at the school christmas concert where you Dad came in to help out your Mom in the class before we went on stage. I remember him at the time to be a giant of a man but he had us kids smiling and laughing throughout the evening. I remember your Mom watching from the side with such a warm smile on her face. I will miss her. Matt Boiko (St. Albert)

Alice loved kids all her life, showered them with flowers on occasion for just one visit. She was and is an angel.

I was lucky enough to do my student teaching in the mid-sixties at Parkview with Alice Fraser. She was a dynamo-- I was in complete awe of her teaching talent. A favourite memory is her use of phonics teaching methods and worksheets smuggled in from Saskatchewan-- SHE knew it was the best system, but the EPSB didn't sanction it back then.
She was a great role model and a great lady. I'm glad I Knew her.

So sorry to hear about your Mum.
My favorite memory is when Jack, Alice and I would walk out of the village to see the sunsets.
With prayers Adina Land
