I have very fond memories of your mother and father. We were always so happy to have them spend time with us. Your dad always had such interesting stories to share.

There are just so many memories, but one that comes to mind is that the very first Christmas card that always came into our house was from your parents. Also, the visits when Pete & Agnes and their daughters would be home. My grandmother and mother always told me how they "headquartered" at their house in Ottawa. It was always so good to have them visit at our home.

Your mother held a very special place in my mother's heart and grandmother's heart. Both my brother and I were also very fond of her. She was such a beautiful lady on the inside and the outside. She was so elegant, yet very down-to-earth.

I am so sorry that I was unable to attend the wake and funeral.

I will always cherish the memories that I have of your mother and father. They were such a wonderful couple.

Dear Mary and Alice's family - I learn of your mom's passing with great sadness. Alice was a great friend to my mom, Maria, in which she helped her with her life at Carlton Lodge. I'll always remember how important her friendship has been to my mom. Sincere sympathies and prayers, Denise, George and Victor in St. Catharines

Dear Family;
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved One and Friend.
Alice was a pure DELIGHT to know and talk with when I saw her many times over the years at Carlton Lodge. I also saw many of her children there to visit, comfort and care for her which is a testament of their love for her. You could see a lifetime of love to her and from her in her family visits.
I saw her this Tuesday with her daughter when we attended the evening church service in Osgoode Hall.
Her struggles and pain are now over and she is happy, healthy and whole in the Presence of the Jesus whom she loved.
May you sense the presence and comfort of Jesus in your time of loss and know I am praying for you along with Jesus.
Love in Christ
Bill

It’s a paradox, My heart aches when I see the pain in my families faces as we grieve over our loss, but at the same time I’m filled with such joy in seeing how much you where loved. Can’t wait to reminisce of the days back on Avonlea rd. with the great meals (especially the gnocchi) and special sense of warmth belonging and Love every time we came over ……Miss you already Zia
