Alice Marsh

Mrs. Marsh was my teacher, neighbor, fellow church member and friend. She and Roy visited New Orleans and we had a great evening together. Best to her children and the rest of her family.

May Mrs. Marsh be at rest with her loved ones in heaven. She had a beautiful family, and her Daughter Sara, is my loving sister in law. Thinking of the entire family at this time. I know her service will be beautiful, and wish I could be there.

Like many I had Alice as my 4th grade teacher at Godfrey school. She always spent time encouraging me with my reading and my struggles with comprehension. I enjoyed spending many years with her at church and in the church choir. She played the organ for Rudy and I for our wedding in 1980. She always encouraged me to keep singing, in talent shows, taking voice lessons, singing for weddings and in the choir at church. She was a strong, vibrant woman very caring about her students and will be greatly missed. Looking forward to seeing her again. Prayers for healed hearts for her family and friends.

I was one of the fortunate students lucky enough to be taught by Mrs Marsh for both fourth and fifth grade at Godfrey. She was my favorite teacher of all time, and since we were transferred with Olin so often, I had a lot of teachers in a lot of different schools. She gave me my love of Laura Ingalls Wilder through our daily chapter reads to close out the day. I'll never forget her. Prayers to her family and continued blessings for the memories among those of us who learned so much from this wonderful woman!

We went to church with Roy and Alice. She was a wonderful person. Our sympathy goes out to the family. God Bless, Bill and Martha

Mrs. Marsh taught my fourth grade class at Godfrey school in 1961. Mrs. Marsh was an excellent teacher putting the student's education first above all things. Kind, compassionate, and skillful in the true art of teaching, Mrs. Marsh was a true credit to her profession! I still remember Mrs. Marsh with honor and tenderness after these many years! Mrs. Marsh maybe in Heaven now, but her positive legacy on earth remains
