Alice Pokorny Obituary
Alice and her beloved late husband, Eugene Pokorny, were the dedicated owners and operators of Owosso Dry Cleaners for many years. She found joy in her work and cherished the relationships she built within the community.
Known for her fun and feisty personality, Alice was a strong and spunky woman who always spoke her mind. She fought the good fight and loved sharing stories about Jesus with her family and friends. Her hobbies included basking in the sun by the pool, hosting coffee gatherings, shopping, and organizing memorable family get-togethers.
Alice is survived by her loving daughters, Ranee (Corey) Brackett, Julie (Bob) Brunell, Sabrina (Bill) Porter, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bert (Pat) Leland, sister-in-laws Patricia Cech, Loretta (Murl) Evans, brother-in-law Carl Pokorny, and many other relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Pokorny, children Tonya, Duane, and James Pokorny, and her brother George Leland.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Alice Pokorny is pending. Her legacy of strength, love for family, and unwavering faith will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

Dear Porkorny family, one and all, we want to send our love and condolences in your loss of Alice. She was such a neat lady! We would see her out and about now and then over the years and have a little chat with her whenever we did.
