Alice Stewart

To the family, many, many friends, and colleagues of this wonderful woman, who was a longtime commentator Alice Stewart. Alice Stewart was a conservative political commentator for CNN who also advised several Republicans in their candidacies for president. That is the legacy Alice Stewart left behind memorable news that will not be forgotten. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Alice Stewart. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

I only came to know of Alice from her work substituting for hosts on POTUS/sirius radio. She was so smart & professional; always a pleasure to listen to her. Deepest condolences to her family & friends.

I did not agree with most of what she stood for in most cases but she seemed to have explained it with care and dignity where you could see her side, she will be missed this was bad news truly for me.

I listened to Alice on cnn news the day before her death and me and wife will miss her not being on the news

I recalled seeing Alice on CNN many times, but truly dove into her viewpoints and discussions after seeing the beautiful tributes following her passing. I´m so sad I didn´t pay closer attention during her life, but can say I´m inspired by her example after her death. What a tremendous legacy she leaves. Alice and I were neighbors and friends in the 90´s when she worked as a news reporter in Little Rock. She had an infectious laugh and was able to motivate you to go after your passion in life. I remember her dedication to faith and passion for running each Sunday. Alice-thank you for giving me the courage to run the race. Peace and Prayers to your family

I have known Alice for a long time and thanks to her wounderful sister Heather she kept us informed when she was going to be on CNN I know she will be missed by all for the wounderful Job of informing the public of all the right news that we deserved to hear about our America.She will be greatly missed Praying for her family.

I´m going to miss hearing Alice´s point of view on CNN. She was true to her nature and kind to everyone.

It's so comforting to see how many lives she has touched. Stories of her kindness, civility and love have been endless. I too enjoyed watching her spar with her colleagues with such conviction, integrity and respect. She will always be a great example that there continues to be much more which unites us than separates us. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends. May the happy memories help to carry you through the sad moments. May Alice rest in peace.

So hard to believe. She was a voice for the Republican Party, I did not always agree with her views, but I had a great deal of respect for her. My condolences to her family, friends and CNN.

As a regular viewer of CNN I will miss one of the few GOP's with class and dignity. She was a great role model for all of us regardless of party. RIP Alice Stewart.

Alice was always fair and respectful on her commentary about GOP candidates and beliefs. I rarely agree with her but always respected her for her diplomacy. She will be so missed as a commentator and for those who knew her personally I´m sure her death is so very tragic. Bless you Alice and your family.

Alice was a high school cross - country and track teammate for multiple seasons, from 1980 through 1981. I have uploaded both team photos with Alice, and photos of Alice running.

The all girl 8th grade team is from 1979, and was the only all girl 8th grade team that I am aware of, at Tucker High School.

When I first met Alice in Little Rock, I was drawn to her honesty and flawless sarcasm. As time went on, I was drawn to her warmth and never ending kindness. She was always willing to talk no matter how busy she was and we could always pick up where we left off no matter how long it had been. She was so easy to be with and despite her amazing success, she was always humble and willing to help others. Her legacy will live on for all eternity.

I´m a dedicated CNN news watcher where I came to know Alice. Politically, I´m a Democrat but always enjoyed listening to the "opposing views " of Alice. She did so with respect, kindness, thoughtfulness and sincerity. I loved her smile and TV demeanor. I will truly miss her presence on CNN and I´m deeply saddened by her passing . I pray for her family, friends and colleagues. Take your rest sweet Alice until we meet again. Heaven has gained another angel.

As a general viewer/reader of Alice's work, she managed to be impressively civil with the the most devicive issues of the day. What a loss at these crazy times!

I met Alice on Capitol Hill years ago. Two Gen X women, conservatives with a heart and compassion. Wanting to expand our tent. She was a joy to know. Kind. Good. Witty and always building bridges. Always. This is surreal. I am, we are all still processing. What a wonderful human being gone from us too soon. She will be missed during this consequential election year. My heart, my prayers and my thoughts go out to her family. And her colleagues and friends. Our hearts are broken. Rest well sweat friend.
