Clifton Springs?Alicia Ellen Schenck, 80, died Friday (July 20, 2018) at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday (July 30th) at the American Legion Post in Phelps with a celebration of life to follow. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials, in her name, may be made to either the ALS Assoc. Upstate Chapter , 1025 Commons Way, Rochester New York 14623 or to the Clifton Springs Library, 4 Railroad Street, Clifton Springs, New York 14432.
Alicia was born on May 4, 1938 in Honeoye Falls, the daughter of the late Melvin and Beatrice Sleight Moore. She graduated from Honeoye Falls High School in 1955 and State University of New York at Albany in 1959. Alicia held a variety of jobs through out her career, most often in the retail business.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, T. Hendrik "Rick" Schenck; her children Charles Schenck of Port Gibson, Earl (Jane) Schenck of Pflugerville, TX and Sarah Logan-Schenck of Clifton Springs; five grandchildren; two brothers James (Beverly) Moore of Honeoye and Earl Moore of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews.
