Cleo, everyone has said it but your mom lit up every time she talked about you... she was so proud. She was sincerely interested in others and would greet you with a warm smile and ask what was new. We worked with your mom and she will be greatly missed at CHEO. Our thoughts go out to you and your family

I'm honestly not even sure what to say. I still can't believe that an amazing daughter, Mother, friend Co worker has left us. We had lots of future plans! I will miss her so much. Cleo as you have been hearing and reading she was so proud of you. I am so glad she knew you got accepted to McGill. We were all pretty excited. Cleo, and mom and dad you are in my thoughts daily and this will continue. We have soooo many positive and fun memories of an awesome woman.

When I was a boy, at 1812 Paisley, Alison was my first friend. And then after 50 years my sister Joanne told me that the internet had allowed us to link with her, to the same place where we had left, and had missed. My heart was elated to think that I might learn more about how we had all grown together, yet apart. And now, I am heart-broken to hear in the same heartbeat that she has passed away. She is an angel now, as I recall she always was; when I think back to those glorious sunny days in Ottawa.

So sad a loss of one so young. Every time I think of Alison she is smiling and waving from her van with her puppy by her side. She was such a good Mom to Cleo and so proud of her. I know she greatly loved her family and they loved her right back. I am sure she will continue to watch over you all. Please accept our deepest sympathy - Phil & Lupcia Karacson

Alison's passing has devastated me beyond belief. A woman so full of life, so devoted to her sweet Cleo, so good at making a person feel really really good about them self. Alison devoted her life to you Cleo..we have all grown to be so proud of you, and to love you because of the love she had for you. We have lived thru your milestones because of her. Alison developed and cultivated such strong relationships with others, always greeting you with a 'hey girl' and a smile, always showing a genuine interest in our lives and what we had to say. Alison was an incredible mentor both personally and professionally. Alison was a remarkable CYC, with a passion for the youth that she worked with for years at cheo. Alison strived to always see the good in others, and to teach us to see the good in the most challenging youth. A true advocate for the youth and her peers. Alison was so playful, a kid at heart. I have so many great memories. Cleo and Evelyn family, please know that this woman made a huge impact on her cheo family. I am so glad to have known her, to have been blessed to call her my friend,to hear how much she truly loved you cleo. I am not sure how we do this without you Alison. You will be missed more than you'll ever know.

I am very saddened to hear about such a caring and wonderful person leaving us much before her time. It's hard to understand the why but I treasure the talks we shared and she will be someone whom benefited my life and for that I'm thankful.
