Alie is missed by all who knew her. In a mostly grey sort of world she was a ray of sunlight. God bless her memory and her family.

March 20, 2014

I worked with Alison in Elkhart and her sister Bev and I were in a Euchre club for years. I was on medical leave having my knee replaced when Alison passed. I was so upset when I returned to work, nine weeks later and heard about it. She was a sweetheart and left us way too soon.

Alison and I worked together for many years. She always had a positive attitude. We had many laughs over the years. Alison was waiting for me to move to her area, so we could travel around "retired" - I will miss her very much. My prayers are with Alison's family and Todd. Jean Camillone Somers NY

I am so sorry to hear of Alison's passing. What a shock. I worked with her from the Bayer's Elkhart site. Her sister Bev and I know each other from church and I always asked Bev how she was doing. Alison, God bless you and the Lord be with your family at this sorrowful time.

I met Alison Buckley Snyder under unusual circumstances. She came into my life when she became the girlfriend and then wife of one of my best friends and fishing buddies Todd Snyder. It was an additional friendship that I have always treasured. We dined together at annual conservation banquets, we worked together on a variety of environmental projects, and we fished together on some of the best trout streams of the east coast. Alison was a game sports woman who loved the outdoors and the natural world. But more than that she was a gentle soul with a good heart and an easy going way that always put her friends at ease. Her lovely smile and her gentle way will be missed both at home and at stream-side. She was a joy to know and my life is richer for having known her.

My deepest condolences go out to her husband Todd and her family. We must take solace in the knowledge that she is not gone forever and that we all shall see her again in the fullness of time.

I am still in shock after reading the obit in yesterday's Poughkeepsie Journal. Alison was one of the most delightful people I have ever met, always pleasant, always with a beautiful smile on her face. I had many very pleasant conversations with her and can still hear her voice. My condolences to all of her family.

My heart was broken today. My deepest sympathies to all of Alison's family and friends. Alison was one of my first friends at Bayer..she was a kind, beautiful woman who taught me so much...There is a saying that I love that reminds me of Alison's impact on my life.."We are all of us molded and remolded by those that have loved us. Even thought that love may pass, we remain nonetheless, their work. No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark upon it forever." F. Maurian. God bless you, Alison....

Alison always brought sunshine into a room when she entered it because of her infectious smile and warm, sincere ways. Her mom and mine were good friends "in the day" and though we didn't really hang out growing up, we shared the roots and characteristics of those schooled in Elkhart. She will be missed by her many close friends and I'm sure, by Todd, who I never had the opportunity to meet. God bless.
